Sipkens has been designing and installing award-winning landscapes in the Sarnia and surrounding areas since 1989. We take the time to understand the unique needs and vision of each of our clients and work hard to provide landscapes that exceed expectations. Our designers will work with you through every stage of the landscaping process: from creating the initial design right up to the finishing touches.

Free Consultation

Contact Sipkens’ Landscape Office to schedule a free initial consultation with one of our designers. We listen to your budget, needs, wants, and dreams, and provide suggestions and solutions that fit your lifestyle and project scope. Based upon this consultation, the designer calculates your project design fee:
Design fees start at $200 plus HST for front yard or backyard on a standard city lot size. $400 plus tax for both front and backyards.
Larger scale projects are discussed and calculated based on project scope. Next, the designer measures your yard and looks at the existing environment to understand lighting needs, soil conditions, and the grade of your yard.

Design & Deposit

At this stage, the designer creates a 2D computerized drawing of the proposed design. Next, you meet together in our office to go over the design and the cost estimate. We ask for your input and feedback before the designer creates the final rendering of your new yard! Drawings can also be done in 3D or colouring for an additional cost. If revisions are needed you may need to meet once more in the office to go over your final plan

Contract & Construction
Next you will receive a copy of your contract outlining the total project quote, the deposit required, and an approximate start date. We require a signed copy of your contract to begin installation. Design fees are deducted from final payments once our team install your project. Should you wish to install the project yourself, you may take your design and material list into our greenhouses to get started on your project right away.

Project Completion
Once your project has been installed, we will require your final payment (less your design fees). Your completed design includes a 2 year warranty on all plant materials and products. Some items, such as lighting, have extended warranties above the 2 years. Some exceptions may apply.
